LOOKAWAY is a VR psychological horror game about a girl trying to escape a house shaped by surveillance, ritual, and control. Through mirror-guided navigation, doll encounters, and fragmented body imagery, the game turns horror into a metaphor for the way social beauty standards and family expectations can discipline feminine identity. By the end, the player may escape the house, but not the logic that has already entered the body.

Inspiration & Intro
LOOKAWAY is inspired by the idea of the mirror as a form of external gaze. Rather than simply reflecting the self, it becomes a symbol of judgment, pressure, and the quiet shaping of feminine identity. The haunted house in the game is designed as both a physical space and a psychological structure, where fear is tied to being watched, corrected, and remade.
Players control a girl trapped inside this distorted house, using mirrors to reveal hidden threats, navigate strange rooms, and survive encounters with pursuing dolls. As they progress through a series of increasingly unsettling domestic spaces, they uncover symbolic actions of reconstruction and control hidden inside everyday rituals.
By the end of the experience, escape no longer feels simple. LOOKAWAY suggests that the deepest horror is not the monster in the mirror, but the way its logic can be absorbed into the self.
